Notes

This facility exhibited walruses in 1884 and 1886; at the time of this writing I have no information on the 1886 individual. There is a small possibility that it may have been the same animal as the 1884 walrus, although this would have been a remarkable example of longevity that would otherwise not be seen in captivity for another quarter century.
