Notes and Information

The renowned Farini walrus was scheduled to be exhibited at this facility, having departed from Liverpool aboard the steamer 'Catalonia' on September 3rd, 1884, though I have no confirmation regarding whether or not the young bull survived the trip, not how long he remained if he did in fact arrive.
