Notes

This facility opened to the public on January 20th, 2019 following a period of trial operation which began on December 28th. I was able to identify a single unknown walrus on display at the park on January 21st, 2019.

On November 19th, 2019 two walruses, Gaiya and Huanhuan, arrived in Sanya from Dalian Laohutan Ocean Park.

No walruses were sighted at this facility at any point over the course of 2021; at this time they are assumed to no longer house the species.
