Adam was said to be four years old in 2009. It is known that another of the park's walruses, Wuma, arrived in 2005, so it is probable that Adam arrived alongside her and a third walrus, Gelusha, as a trio ahead of the park's opening in May of 2006.
Adam was presumably involved in a aggressive incident at Royal Ocean Park in 2017. A walrus pushed a trainer into the water from the stage of their Ocean World dolphin stadium during a scheduled performance -- the trainer was able to exit within seconds of being pushed in and walked away while the walrus remained in the water.
