Angli was said to have been three years old in July of 2014.
CITES records show an importation of two walruses into South Korea in 2013, which is all but certainly Angli and Meli entering the country in preparation for the opening of Aqua Planet Ilsan in 2014. Despite this, Angli is not currently known to have ever been transferred to the Ilsan facility, instead remaining in Jeju until becoming lost to follow-up in 2018.
