This walrus's age and date of capture is unknown; the 2015 date utilized here comes from the last known import of wild-caught pups directly into China.
It is unknown when this walrus arrived at Tianjin; he was first recorded as part of Walrus Network's photo-identification initiative in 2018, at which point he had likely already been housed at the park for several years.
